Telúrico

Wildmakers-Telurico.jpegWinery: Wildmakers
Region: Guarilihue Alto, El Huaro sector
Appellation: San Javier (Maule)
Designation: DO

Site: The earth always exerts an influence on what inhabits it, an energy that is silently nurtured through time. When this energy is released, it influences you, pushes you to tear down your walls. Let it; because there is nothing better than that energy that makes you shake. Telúrico comes from ancestral Cariñena vines rooted in the dry interior of the Maule Valley, which year after year are nourished by the energy, typicity and expression of the place.

Grapes: 100% Cariñena

Fermentation and Aging: Fermentation with natural yeasts; very long maceration of 90-120 days.  Aged for 34-36 months in first-use French oak barrels and then one year in the bottle.

Notes: Intense coloring and complex on the nose. Medium-bodied, with a juicy, structured palate and a long finish. It’s a wine true to terroir, variety, and concept.
