Winery: Castellucci Miano
Site: Grown on the slopes of the Madonie mountain, at an altitude of 700-900m above sea level. Soils are sandy clay with limestone.
Grapes: Catarratto, trained to espalier and albarello (head pruned). Average Age of vineyard 20 years, with yields of about 65 hectoliters per hectare. Grape harvest in October.
Fermentation and Aging: Light pressing with long, cool fermentation; no malolactic fermentation. Stainless steel only.
