In a few words: A good, fun, medium-bodied Montepulciano!

Site: Loamy clay, farmed using “agricultura integrata” – as naturally as possible. East and west exposure – midday sun.

Grapes: 100% Montepulciano d’Abruzzo.

Fermentation and Aging: Spontaneous fermenation, without added sulphites. Hence the name, "Liberamente"! Soft pressing, long (25 days) maceration, temperature controlled fermentation.

Notes: Liberamente is a range of wines that seeks a vineyard expression without added sulphites and with spontaneous fermentation on the native yeast. The Montepulciano is characterized by a dense, deep red color. Juicy grape, plum, and blackberry in generous amounts on both the nose and palate, with subtle notes of earth, bark, and iron. Medium-bodied, a fun wine. Drink it now, with some good aged cheese!

Production is about 6,000 bottles.
