Prosecco Rosé

Prosecco-rose.jpegWinery: Colli Euganei
Region: Veneto
Locale: Vò (Padova), Italy
Appellation: Veneto
Designation: DOC

In a few words: Delicate and lovely.

Site: 130 million years ago, an archipelago of volcanic islands emerged leaving marine fossils throughout the Euganean Hills. Striking reliefs separated by cool valleys, ideal exposure to sun and alluvial deposits mixed with fragmented volcanic rocks yield grapes of vibrant energy.

Grapes: 90% Prosecco (Glera), 10% Pinot Nerot

Fermentation and Aging: Fermented in large, closed containers for 60 days at a controlled temperature.

Notes: The color is a lovely pale pink hue, with fine and persistent perlage. Delicate on the palate, with hints of red berries. Ideal as an aperitif!
