The vineyard is located in Arbis, in the area of Entre-Deux-Mers, “Between Two Seas” - the Garonne, and the Dordogne. The ancestors of the Menguin family trace back farther than anyone can remember but in 1925, great-great-grandfather established the trade-association of the Haut-Benauge and from 1970 on, successive members of the family enlarged the estate. For the past few years, considerable efforts have been made to acquire state of the art vinification equipment in order to make wines of purity, expressing the very best character of this particular terroir.
