Site: Vineyards over 100 years of age, mostly pre-phylloxera. Slate, with underlying quartz and granite.

Grapes: 100% Juan Garcia, harvested by hand in early October.

Fermentation and Aging: Aged for 6 months in American oak barriques; resting in the bottle for at least 12 months after bottling. 

Notes: About 10,000 bottles produced. A hearty red wine; enjoy with duck breast, red meats, and all types of roasts
