Site: Site: From a 14 Ha plot of 45 year old vines in Brouilly, the largest of the 10 Crus of Beaujolais. Substrate is Rose-colored granite and Porphyrus (Purple Granite).

Grapes: 100% Gamay Noir

Fermentation and Aging: 50% whole cluster fermentation, and 50% of the grapes are fermented in the Burgundian tradition with destemming, open top fermenters, and a longer maceration of about 12 days. The wine is aged in stainless steel tanks and foudre.

Notes: More density than the Beaujolais-Villages. This is the winery’s largest production and therefore most important wine. Can easily age 2 - 3 years.
